Khloe Pajaron

Hello! My name is Khloe Pajaron, and I'm from WIN Dallas.

I've grown up going to church. Not a single Sunday was missed, no matter how much I dragged my feet or begged to stay in bed. My parents always found a way to make it work, even when my father had no drivers license and no car when we first moved to Upstate New York. I'm blessed to say that my parents have helped build the foundation of my faith and that they still guide me in my walk with Christ today.

My parents would also bring my family to WIN New Jersey growing up because Pastor Edwin is my ninong (fun fact)! During those times, I witnessed firsthand the tight bond of their youth and their incredible passion for God. It was something I longed for in my own life and it was something I felt lacking in. Community.

I kept on praying for a youth like WIN-NJ's, so God moved my family from Upstate New York to Texas. I could go on and on about how this move changed my life, but to keep it short, being part of WIN Dallas has been such an incredible blessing. I’ve met and made so many new friends through this church, and I’ve experienced the love of Christ in ways I’ve never even considered before.

An even further answer to my prayer was Soul Anchor! Going to Soul Anchor for the first time in 2026 was transformative. Seeing so many people that had the desire to worship and glorify God was an amazing experience. You could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit throughout the entirety of camp, and I witnessed the way it changed the lives of individuals. The theme being "Go the Distance" reinforced the purpose of community for me and it made me have a deeper appreciation for the people present in my life. We are meant to help carry each other's burdens, so we can endure the race and finish well. I found that at this camp. A camp that was 3 nights and 4 days long, yet the friendships formed could last a lifetime. And it’s not just what happens during camp that’s life changing, but it’s what continues after. It’s the call to keep on living for God and to seek His will day after day. To keep on running for Him because He’s been chasing after you. Soul Anchor showed me that we are never in this race alone – that we can always look to Christ and each other in our time of need.  The very thing I was searching for was answered through WIN and Soul Anchor, and I’m so grateful for all of it.

Of the many things Soul Anchor is, it’s a reminder that there is a God that loves you so much and that He is in constant pursuit of you. My encouragement to those reading is to be open to it. His love is not because we’ve earned it, but it’s because of what He’s done. And all you have to do is respond.
